Course Description

This is a one-day intensive programme offering overview of energu sources as well as the Safe Use of Surgical Energy in the Operating Room.

Important topics such as the mechanisms of surgical devices and energy utilized in surgery will be covered. We will also touch on how to gain operative access and share tips on how to avoid complications and safety compromises in the Operating Room. This will end off with a hands-on wet lab session with surgical energy devices in small groups led by our faculty.

Both Surgeons and Nurses will get exposed in the technical handling of energy devices and safe usage of surgical energy.
