Introduction of Dr Deepraj Bhandarkar  He is a Consultant in minimal access surgeon at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.  He has been active in several national surgical associations and is the Past President of Hernia Society of India  For over 16 years he was the Editor of Journal of Minimal Access Surgery – a PubMed indexed journal  He has 95 peer-reviewed publications in journals, 25 book chapters, and over 500 presentations and invited lectures to his credit  He is active in training of surgeons in minimal access surgery from around India and participates in workshops, seminars, and conferences
