Consultant general and bariatric surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE. He completed his medical school at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and his surgical training at Cleveland Clinic Ohio and a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery at Duke University. He is the director of the Hernia and Core Health Center at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. An international speaker. He has published several original scientific articles and texts on hernia, laparoscopic, robotic and bariatric surgery.
