Archana Ramaswamy completed her medical school and residency at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, followed by a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Emory University. She has obtained a healthcare MBA from the University of St Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is chief of surgery at VA Loma Linda HealthCare System. She is President of the American Hernia Society 2023-2024, and is a vice president of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Her clinical interests include bariatrics, hernia, foregut, and endoscopy.
