Dr Pallawi Priya is a Hernia, AWR and Bariatric Surgeon based in Kolkata, India. She is on the executive committee of the Hernia Society of India since 2019 and the Obesity Surgery Society of India from 2022 to 2024. She has a number of articles on hernia and bariatric surgery published in peer-reviewed national journals. She is on the editorial board for the Journal of Bariatric Surgery and is the editor of the book 'Newer Concepts and Procedures in Hernia Surgery - An Atlas' and 'Management of Nutritional and Metabolic Complications of Bariatric Surgery'. She has co-authored chapters in books such as 'Comprehensive Laparoscopic Surgery (4th ed., IAGES Academic Publishers)', 'Nutrition, Obesity and Bariatric Surgery' and 'Essentials of Mini-One Anastomosis Gastric Bypass (Springer). She has been invited as faculty at national and international conferences. Her work has won awards at several conferences.
